Welcome to Language for Fun, Biddulph's lovely, lively French and Spanish lessons for adults with Richard!

We offer fun, stress-free lessons with no exams and no compulsory homework in relaxed but highly structured and effective classes, where a large part of the lesson is spent talking to other learners. Our conversations have been created specifically for adults, rather than teenagers and we try to create a dinner party/coffee morning atmosphere, where we make sure that everyone feels at ease and able to join in! Below is information about all of our French and Spanish classes with times, prices and a bit of information about the teachers.

Richard Robards
A graduate in French from Leeds University, Richard also has Advanced Level qualifications in Spanish, Italian and German. Having spent all of his career until recently working in Export Sales for British manufacturers of a variety of products ranging from ceramic tiles to mens’ shirts and from woodworking machinery to bathroom sanitaryware, Richard has been fortunate to travel the world extensively and to use his languages in International Trade environments. Turning to teaching later in life than usual, he recently completed a Diploma in Education. He has worked for Language for Fun as a tutor since the beginning of 2011 and has recently taken over the licence for Spanish in Newcastle-under-Lyme and Spanish & French for Biddulph, Congleton, Leek and Alsager all of which he is looking to expand over the next few years.
